Abrakadoodle presents an Open Art Session where parents & children can participate together. This is a unique opportunity to bond with your little one through the fun & creative medium of arts & craft.
We encourage parents to help out with the cutting and prep work, while the creative art work is taken up by the child.
The Garden of Artists is a FREE session, and participants need to pay just $25 to cover the cost of materials.
Artist in Focus
In this session, we set our sights on the famous Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso (PAHB-lo pee-KAHS-o). Picasso experimented with different art styles and techniques his whole life. He liked to create art using simple shapes. He is credited with inventing the “Collage” art form, where the artwork is made with many pieces placed together to form a picture. One of his most famous pictures is called “Bouquet of Peace” and it was made with simple shapes. He created this artwork for a peace demonstration held in Sweden.
Our unique “Process Art” approach encourages kids to enjoy and learn from the actual creative process that goes into creating art that reflects their thoughts & ideas with a range of different art materials.
How Process Art Benefits Infants and Toddlers:
This Open Session will provide a valuable bonding experience between you and your child, and will also give you, as a parent, an insight into your child’s creative abilities, and a better understanding of how the Process Art approach is beneficial to their overall development.
And best of all, it will be a whole lot of fun!
