Art Safari
Abrakadoodle and Lady
Bird Johnson's Wild
Flower Center joined
together to create this
special program for
flower centers, botanical
gardens, and other gardens. From
soil to bugs and blooms,
each art session will
inspire children's creativity
while promoting a better
understanding of garden
environments. Create
a diorama with worms;
explore impressionistic
art; learn about the
father of botantical
drawing Basilius Besler,
and more!
 Kids on
CanvasThis
is a fabulous class for
kids who want to learn
all about painting! From
using a variety of brushes and learning
different brush strokes
to mixing and layering
colors, children
in this program will
engage in the joy
of painting. Students
learn about painting on
canvas, using acrylics.
Children use their imaginations
in creating artwork based
upon the techniques, style
and vocabulary of such
artists as Renoir, Laurel
Burch, Modigliani, Warhol,
Sam Francis, Renee Magritte
