What is Crayola doing to ensure its products made in China are safe for our customers? 

Safe products are of paramount concern to Crayola. We want to ensure that our consumers and your customers are comfortable knowing our products are safe for them to buy and use, no matter where they are made. To help us achieve this goal, we continue to evaluate and test our products and raw material components with testing occurring in China and subsequently the United Sates to ensure these products are safe. We have recently upgraded our systems with additional quality assurance and supply chain personnel on the ground in Hong Kong and China to ensure our products are tested properly and regularly. Inspections and audits occur on a regular basis with our raw material and product suppliers to ensure the facilities we work with have the highest standards and do not compromise our world-class specifications during product manufacture. We do not manufacture any products at the China production facilities that have been identified in the recent recalls. In addition, Crayola art materials adhere to the highest safety standards as recognized by the Arts & Crafts Materials Institute (ACMI) and carry the AP Seal (Approved Product), indicating non-toxicity and quality.
